Good morning all –
We are nearing completion of our project. We have started having the many inspections that work toward our final certificate of occupancy, which we are planning for by August 1st.
Over the coming weeks we continue to have deliveries and sub contractors complete their tasks. One such task is the metal guard rails, hand rails and the green wall on the east side of our building. This has been ordered and is in fabrication, and should be completed mid August. We also have 2 more appliance deliveries that will come later this week and early next.
Other than the railings and green wall, there are not any remaining events of any significant impact on the neighborhood
Thank you for your patience in the process.
We are on the final push toward completion. We are hoping to have our inspection process wrapped up by the end of July.
Today I was made aware of a parking issue by the landscaping truck. I will discuss deliveries with the drivers and contractors again. Once a delivery is completed we will have the trucks removed as quickly as prudent.
That said, we will be having many deliveries of appliances, materials, etc over the coming weeks. We will do our best to keep close to the curb, off load the product and have the delivery truck removed asap. This Monday morning we will have such a delivery.
Regarding the planting strip on the south side of our sidewalk, we were required to install this area by SDOT. We requested a variance, and were rejected. I am aware that neighbors have also requested a variance of this SDOT requirement, these were also refused. This is what we have to work with and we will do our best to park as tight as possible to the curb, and will absolutely abide by all Seattle laws.
As always, thank you for your patience in the process. We are almost done!
Nothing dramatic to note. We are continuing as we have for the past couple of weeks. As things change, I will post updates.
Our target is to complete the building by Aug. 1.
Good morning all,
Our biggest event this week will be the start of our landscape. I don’t have a specific start day at this time, other than it is this week.
Other than that, our project status is not any different than the past few weeks in terms of general activity. We have interior sub contractors and deliveries on a daily basis.
At this time, we are targeting August for completion.
As always, thank you all for your patience in the process.
As previously notified, we are on track to reinstall our sidewalk and curb in front of our project, as well as the replacement of the driveway strip on the east side of our building. Our concrete truck is scheduled to start at 11:00 am tomorrow, Thursday the 1st.
Our landscaper will be starting early next week.
As always, thank you for your patience with the process.
I hope everyone has a good Memorial Day Weekend.
During the upcoming week we hope to complete our concrete work and then start our landscape irrigation.
On Thursday June 1st we will be replacing the sidewalk and curb. We are also replacing the open portion of driveway on the east side of our building. This will complete our concrete work.
Next week we are also starting our landscape work, working in the back yard first and then the the front yard after the concrete it placed. The bulk of the landscape and irrigation will take about 2 weeks, but the plantings wont be installed until the end of June.
On the inside, we are continuing with the cabinets, counters and flooring.
As always, thank you for your patience.
Good afternoon all,
Just confirming we are pouring our on site concrete sidewalks and the driveway strip Monday. I don’t know what time the pour will start, but it will take much of the day.
Thank you for your patience.
I am confirming our street panel repair today.
Tomorrow we will have our cabinet delivery. This will consist of a large moving trailer parked in front of our project most of the day.
Lastly, the on site sidewalk pour is set for Monday.
Our concrete pour for this Friday has been pushed to this coming Monday. We could not get concrete scheduled for Friday.
You can expect traffic impacts near our project much of the day Monday.
Regarding our noted concrete pour dates – Wednesday the 17th we will be replacing the street panel in front of our building as previously communicated. Starting about 8:00 am will be removing the existing panel and starting about 12:30 replacing it.
Due to the weather conditions, we are rescheduling our on site sidewalks to Friday the 19th. Our curb and remaining sidewalks will still be installed next week.
